The Mission Field Is the World

Since 1999, hundreds of Royal Redeemer members have traveled to numerous countries to be God’s hands and feet to those in need. People involved in missions will tell you: The experience was life-changing...for them!

New mission trips are being planned all the time, including these trips that we do annually:

Scammon Bay Alaska

July 2016 was the 16th year that Royal Redeemer has partnered with Alaska Mission for Christ to send a team to Scammon Bay, Alaska. The team lead Vacation Bible School for grades K–6 during the day, including opening worship, Bible lesson, gym time and craft time. In the evenings, they lead a young adult Bible study.

The trip also involved fellowship with the adults and often included doing a service project with young adults in the village.

Appalachia

Each year, a team of Royal Redeemer senior high youth, college students and adults partner with a social services agency for a week of service projects in the foothills of Appalachia. The team worked out of a base in Caldwell, Ohio, about two hours south of Cleveland. They built wheelchair ramps and did other home improvement projects.

If you are looking for an “entry level” mission opportunity, try this one! Cost per person is usually minimal — about $150 for the week.
