SERVE IN

THE COMMUNITY

Changing our world can start right here at home in North Royalton and in our surrounding communities. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10) ┬áLet’s serve one another as Christ served you!

Servant Saturday

Twice a year on the first Saturday in May and October, hundreds from our Royal Redeemer family spend the morning in the community, doing yard work, visiting nursing homes, helping out at shelters and much more.

Care 'n' Share Thanksgiving Dinner

Every Thanksgiving, Royal Redeemer cooks and serves more than 1,000 hot turkey dinners for people in our local community. Meals are served on-site, as well as delivered to homes. It takes hundreds of volunteers to make it happen: coordinators, cooks, bakers, servers, drivers, setup and cleanup crews, and more.

Hunger Center Deliveries

Transport bread and bakery from Panera, Heinen’s, Giant Eagle and other establishments to hunger centers in Parma and on Cleveland’s West Side. Royal Redeemer’s team delivers Monday through Friday. More drivers needed.

Meals On Wheels

Homebound residents of North Royalton can receive two meals (one hot and one cold), delivered daily to their home by Royal Redeemer volunteers. Meals on Wheels runs Monday through Friday. Volunteers pick up and deliver prepared meals according to an assigned weekly schedule.

Redeemer Creations

Redeemer Creations shares warmth and God’s love with others by hand-knitting, crocheting and distributing prayer shawls, lap blankets, baptismal blankets and more. These handmade items are given to those in hospice, local nursing homes or to babies when they’re baptized. Knit or crochet items independently or join the group when they gather.

Special Needs Ministry

There are a number of ways you can help our Special Needs Ministry. These include serving as a volunteer at Friends of Jesus, Nathaniel’s Hope/Buddy Break, or Night to Shine. Training may be required.

Community Meal

Each month, Royal Redeemer partners with other area churches to provide a complimentary community meal. We’re always looking for help, especially when Royal Redeemer is also the host site.
